Yes and we are still tracking them but yet to get them
arrested.
N.N. Anaka Esq: To communication service providers did you write
letters if any?
PW3:
We wrote to MTN, Global Can and Airtel and they furnish
us with some informations.
N.N. Anaka Esq: Was any of his relative or lawyer present when the
defendant made his statements?
PW3:
His relatives and lawyer were there when the statements were
being recorded.
N.N. Anaka Esq: Is there any endorsement on the 2 statements where
either a lawyer or relation of the defendant acknowledged his
presence when the statements were recorded?
PW3:
No.
N.N. Anaka Esq: You have seen the statement of the defendant in which
he said he benefitted 2.1 million?
PW3:
Yes.
