Anaka Esq: Is it a normal practice for an account holder to use either the bank’s manager’s phone number or account officer to make confirmation in his account’s transactions? PW4: Yes and the essence of the call is for account holder to have a careful and diligent confirmation. N.N. Anaka Esq: Are you aware that the complainant in this case called your branch here in Sokoto to confirm the validity of the transactions? PW4: I am not aware. N.N. Anaka Esq: I put it to you that your branch of Sokoto were negligent in handling the transactions/confirming the transactions. PW4: I don’t think they are negligent. N.N.
