PW3: I recorded and translated the statement of the defendants and to the best of my knowledge, I informed the court how I recorded the statements. Kamal O. Maidoki Esq: You said you recovered stones, and other items, when did you recover those items? PW3: I recovered those items at the time I visited the scene of crime but I cannot remember when I visited the scene. M.L. Maidoki Esq: You visited the scene not on the date the incident happened? PW3: Yes and we recovered the items at the scene when we visited the scene with the 1st defendant but, we did not go to the scene with the 2nd and 3rd defendants. M.L. Maidoki Esq: Your superior officer only endorse the Hausa version of the 2nd and 3rd defendants.
