The r 1rticulars of the offence are that Defendant, ljeoma Chukwubuiki 11 011 th e 17L11 day of March 2013 , at Ogidi Aniukwu in Idemil JudiciJI Divi sion murdered Philip Meka . Defendant was origir 1lly charged along with one Nweke Meka who is her brother of full l lood but he was reported dead in the course of thes e proceedings on the 15 th of June 2016 and his name was struck out. Defendant pleaded nc c guilty to the charge and in proof of their case, Pros ecution called th1 ee witnesses while Defendant only testified on her own behalf and cz ,le:d no other witness .
