is said to be inserted, that thing must naturally go inside the thing it is inserted into. Therefore to insert his penis into her virgina, it is natural that the penis must have penetrated into the virgina however slight. It is to be noted that our superior courts have stated times without number in a plethora of judicial decisions that the said penetration however slight or weak suffices to constitute the offence of rape. It is to be noted that the victim even stated in her evidence before this court when she testified as pw3 that she could not even walk because her virgina was paining. Be that as it may this Hon. Court is of the view that from the evidence adduced by the prosecution more especially the evidence of pw3 and exhibit B, the medical report which corroborate the said evidence and the evidence of pw4 which also in some respect corroborate the testimony of pw3, this court is satisfied that there was penetration of the penis of the defendant into the virgina of Nana Firdausi Bello, the Victim in this case and I so hold.
