Thereafter they started beating with sticks and later put me inside cell. I spent one day in the cell. I spent one day in the cell at Tambuwal from where I was transferred to CID Sokoto. The police at CID told me the same allegation. My statement was taken at CID office Sokoto. I spent 3 weeks at CID office Sokoto before I was taken to magistrate court, but I was not taken to anywhere for investigation. Court: Under cross examination DW1 further testified as follows:- DW1: I have 2 germane brothers who live at Maddaci. 4 sisters who are also germane. I am married with 2 wives. I also have 3 children. 2nd defendant did not marry any of my sister and I know police can arrest without reason. DW2: {After affirmation}: My name is Umar Muhammed Daneri.
