The defendants made their statements in Hausa language, I
interpreted it to the recorder in English language and after I
read it over and interpreted the defendants in Hausa
language.

interpreter between the recorders of the defendants’
statements and the defendants?
PW4:
Yes and I don’t know anything about the case and I can
remember it was on 8 and 9/11/2020. I also don’t know the
day the defendants were taken to court after my role as an
interpreter.

PW5 (after affirmative): My name is Mohammed Amadu ASP attached
to Intelligence Response Team. My Force No. is 129763. I
live in Jigawa State. In October, 2020 I was attached to FIB
Intelligence Response Team Force Headquarters Abuja. I
know the defendants. On the 8/11/2020 one Inspector Sani
Usman brought Aliyu Abdullahi (the 1st defendant) with a
written statement that it was the statement made by the 1st
defendant and that it was confessional in nature. I collected
