Yes I can identify it because it was written on the EFCC
statement form with EFCC logo with Economic and
Financial Crimes written on top and the words of caution
which I wrote in my own handwriting.

is the statement?
PW3:
Yes this is the statement.
Chile Okoroma Esq: The witness having identified the statement, we seek
to tender it in evidence.
Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi SAN: We are objecting to the admissibility of
the statement based on the following grounds:(i) The document sought to be tendered does not bear the
name of the defendant when compared with the name of
the defendant on the charge sheet. The name used in the
charge sheet is “Dahiru Muhammed” but the name on
the document sought to be tendered is one “Mohammed
Dahiru” and it is the same name that signed on the
document sought to be tendered.
(ii) From the evidence of PW3, it is his evidence that one
Umar Mohammed Yabo was the person authorized by
the defendant to record his statement and interpret the
purported statement. On the 1sst page of the document
sought to be tendered, the person indicted as purportedly
being authorized to record the statement, is one Umar
Mohammed Mohammed Yabo. Umar Muhammed
Muhammed Yabo did not signed the said statement as
recorder, but the name appearing on the 2nd page of the
document sought to be tendered, is one Umar
Muhammed Yabo as the recorder. From the evidence of
PW3, it is very apparent that he is neither the maker nor
