PW3: After the 1st statement of the defendant was taken on the 5/7/2021, the defendant volunteered additional statement on the 6/7/2021. The statement was recorded by his counsel after the cautionary words were administered and explained to his understanding of which he appended his signature and thereafter authorized his counsel Barr. Yahaya Yunusa Gwazawa to write down the statement on his behalf. After volunteering the statement, it was read over to him and he affirmed same to be his statement and signed at the end of the statement. The counsel also acknowledge by signing as the recorder of the statement. At the end of the investigation, the investigating team came up with some findings; that there was a property at Bado Area, put up for sale by Alhaji Hamza Sidi Maman and the same property was sold to one Mohammed Umar on the 24/11/2016; that the transaction between Alh.
