Abubakar Maharazu My name is Sat Abubakar Maharazu. Force No: S 02945. I’m a serving member of Nigerian police force Sokoto command and I’m now attached to Unguwar Rogo police Division. I’m an IPO. I have been an IPO for about 9 years. As an IPO my duties includes investigation of cases. I know the defendant I the dock. His name is Nasiru Yakubu. I knew him on the 12th of March 2020 at about 1700 hrs when I was on duty at my office at Unguwar Rogo. A case of rape and screening of offender was reported to our station officially. The case was referred to me for investigation. The nominal complainant by name Amina Aliyu living at Minanata area. She complained against the defendant that on the same date at about 1600hrs the said defendant called her daughter by name Firdausi Bello a 7 year old girl inside their compound where he had unlawful carnal knowledge of her. By than the said defendant was at large and in the course of investigation it revealed that the said defendant was screened by one Mudassiru Yakubu and one Lubabatu Muhammed the two of them were arrested by our men and I interviewed both of them and I also visited the scene 5
