DW1: I mean 2nd and 3rd Defendants and I and even where we stopped to buy suya beans, we are on a motorcycle. I was not the one driving the motorcycle. The 3rd Defendant was in the middle while the 2nd Defendant was the one driving the motorcycle. It was 2nd and 3rd Defendants that took me to hospital. Yakubu Sani CSC: Did any of your relation or friends report the matter to any authority? DW1: They were waiting for me to regain my consciousness, before we report the matter. Yakubu Sani CSC: In your evidence you said you have political differences with some people, who are those people? DW1: They are those Babangida Aliyu, there is one Shago who I don’t know his name. There is a reason and the reason was that we were given money to share among ourselves but we were not given our own share, we then started exchanging words up to the extent that fight almost erupted between us. Until when we were from Mani Maishinko’s house that the fight erupted between us. Yakubu Sani CSC: You made a statement at Gwiwa some hours after incident? DW1: No, and I was at Gwiwa Police Station in relation to this matter from where I was taken to CID Office Sokoto.
