Mustapha Danjuma Esq: The complaint letter did not carry the name of any suspect? PW2: Yes and I made efforts to meet with the nominal complainant. Mustapha Danjuma Esq: Where was the 1st defendant arrested? PW2: The 1st defendant was arrested at Illela Town. Mustapha Danjuma Esq: Where was the offence committed? PW2: The offence was committed at Masallata Village in Niger Republic and victim was brought to Kalmanu Forest in Illela Local Government of Sokoto State. Mustapha Danjuma Esq: Proper investigation was not made? PW2: No proper investigation was made and the 1st defendant made his statement voluntarily. Mustapha Danjuma Esq: Did you allow the 1st defendant to bring any member of his family or his lawyer or before his statement was recorded?
