After the charges were read and explained to the Defendants, the Defendants pleaded not guilty to all the two (2) count charges to which the Defendants pleaded not guilty, are hereby reproduced below:Charges 1. “That you (1) Fodiyo Bello and (2) Bello Altine on or about 28th September, 2017 at about 2000hrs at Makera Asada Area, Sokoto North Local Government Area of Sokoto State within the Sokoto Judicial Division did commit the offence of Criminal Conspiracy in that you agreed to do an illegal act to wit have unlawful carnal knowledge against one Ibrahim Dahiru and that same act was done in pursuance of the agreement and you thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 97 (1) of the Penal Code. 2. “That you (1) Fodiyo Bello and (2) Bello Altine on or about 28th September, 2017 at about 2000hrs at Makera Asada Area, Sokoto North Local Government Area of Sokoto State within the Sokoto Judicial Division did commit the offence of Unnatural Offence in that both of you lured one Ibrahim Dahiru (a 9 years old) into your house at the said Makera Asada Area, where both of you had unlawful carnal intercourse against the order of nature with the said Ibrahim Dahiru and you thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 284 of the Penal Code.” Page 2 of 19
