of crime. I recorded the statement of the nominal complainant and the statement of Mudassiru and Lubabatu. I then took the victim to the specialist hospital for medical check-up. We were issued with card No: 2890 and the medical report was issued by the said hospital. I then compiled the case file and forwarded to the Divisional police officer in which he directed us to transfer the case to the C.I.D office for further investigation. I complained with his directive and transfer the case file to the C.I.D office. The accused person was not arrested by our men at the division. It was later we learnt that the defendant was arrested. When I heard that the defendant was arrested I went to the C.I.D office and I saw the defendant there. I can identify the medical report through the name of the victim Firdausi Bello and the said Hospital card No: 2890 was written medical report. H. B. Dogon Daji – The witness having identified the medical report in respect of the victim of this case we seek to tender same in evidence. S. Ovia – We will be objecting to the admissibility of the medical report in evidence we will furnish our reasons in our final address.
