(Judge) 6/10/2022 Court resumed today 24/11/2022 Appearances: Kufre E. Uduak Esq for the applicant. The application is a motion on notice for final forfeiture filed on the 12/9/2022. The reliefs sought are as contained on the face of the motion papers. There are also grounds upon which the application is brought it is supported by a 9 paragraphs affidavit. We rely on all the paragraphs of the said affidavit and the exhibits EFCC1 and 2 annexed thereunder. We have also filed a written address which we adopt as our legal argument in support of the application. We urge the court to grant the application. RULING Court: After hearing the applicant’s counsel moving the application in terms of the reliefs sought relying on the grounds upon which the application is brought, the affidavit in support of the application, the legal argument canvassed in the adopted written address as well as the annexed exhibits EFCC 1 and 2 which are the order of this court vide motion No. SS/M.258/2021 granting an interim order of forfeiture and publication of the order in the Daily Trust Newspapers of 5/8/2021 respectively.
