Abubakar Esq: Do you know late Abubakar Umaru? DW2: Yes I know him but I don’t know where he is because I have been in detention for about 3 years now. I can remember our last meeting with him was when he lodged a complaint against our father about 3 years ago. I fight ensured between the children of our elder brother and our sister and I came to know because our elder brother lodged a complaint before our Village Head and when the Village Head inform our elder brother to relocate to another house for peace to reign, he refused and called our father a pigeon and attempted to cut our father and I protected our father as a result he cut me on the head and I retaliated and we all fell down and both of us were taken to hospital, but I don’t know what happened to him later. I forgot whether I made a statement at CID because I was sick at that time. I can’t remember making a statement at CID because I was sick as I have said.
