hospital conducted its own internal investigations and found out that both the medical report and the laboratory test result did not emanate from the hospital. He testified that the named Dr. O. A. Balogun, who purportedly issued Exhibit P1 was not in the employment of the hospital in that his name was not on the staff list; that the name of the patient quoted in Exhibits P1 and P2 was not registered with the hospital; that the patient card and number quoted in the reports were not found in the hospital’s records; and that the letter headed paper on which Exhibit P1 was written, even though bore the name of Maitama District Hospital, did not contain the features of the hospital’s regular letter headed paper. He further testified that on the strength of his 38
