COUNT EIGHT: That you , Professor Fidelis Uzochukwu Okafor and Mr. Michael Emeka Ekwunife on or about the 3rd day of February, 2011 at Nwafor Orizu College of Education , Nsugbe, Anambra State within the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court of Nigeria with intent to defraud , obtained the sum of N201 ,500 (Two Hundred and One Thousand, Five Hundred Naira) from the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State when you falsely represented that the said sum was used to settle the hotel bills of the Interim Provost, Professor Fidelis Uzochukwu Okafor which pretence you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 ( 1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the same Act . The plea of the Defendant was taken on 2/3/2015 and the prosecution called four (4) witnesses to prove of their case i.e. Pw 1 Comrade Okolo Cyprian Emeka, Pw2 Effa lmoh Okon, Pw3 Kieriama Morris and Pw4, Sunday Uzoma .
