Exhibit “A” shows that the applicant along with 4 others now at large conspired to attack one Alh. Buda Garba after arming themselves with cutlasses. By the provisions of Section 160(1) of the Sokoto State Administration of Criminal Justice Law, 2019 a person accused of committing a Capital offence can only be released on bail if he has shown exceptional circumstances. In view of all the foregoing, it is my humble view that looking at the facts and circumstances of the applicant’s application and circumstances surrounding the case of the applicant, it will serve the better interest of justice if relief 2 of the Applicant’s relief is granted.
