I, Shuaibu Ahmad Chief Magistrate, sitting at Sokoto in the Sokoto Magisterial District hereby charge you Muhammad Kabir Zakariyya as follows:- That you on or about sometimes in the year 2016 at Sokoto collected the sum of eight million naira {N8,000,000:00} from Saratu Ladan Tamiya of Sama Road Area Sokoto to buy ginger and keep it for her with the intention to sale the said ginger when the price appreciates. The ginger which you bought and keep it in your custody. But later sold it without her consent and converted the money to your own use. And thereby committed criminal breach of trust punishable under S. 302 of the Sokoto state penal code 2019, triable by this court. Charge No.2 That you on or about sometimes in the year 2016 at Sokoto was entrusted with Ginger worth eight million naira {N8,000,000:00} for safe keeping by Hajiya Saratu Ladan Tsamiya of Sama Road Sokoto. But sold the ginger without her knowledge, dishonestly misappropriated the money bought landed properties in your name and other things and thereby committed an offence punishable under S.298 of the penal code Page 7 of 25
