I am a rearer of livestock. I am a Village Head for about 30 years. I know the defendants. I heard why they are before the court. They were alleged to have committed the offence of Kidnapping and the 1st defendant was arrested at Illela in a market day while the 2nd defendant was arrested at Kalmanu Village while he was rearing livestock. What I am urging this court to do, is to release the defendants because they did not committed what was alleged against them because I just heard they were arrested. It is a mere allegation because I don’t know them as criminals or as persons committing such type of offence. I have no anything to add but I know the defendants are of good character. Dr. M.H.
