I asked him whether he can make a statement based on what he knows and he said yes. I then cautioned him. He said he cannot remember the date but it was in 2019 during Sallah festivities. He then thump printed the word of caution and therefore started narrating what happened and I was recording it. At the end of his statement, he signed by thumb printing and I counter signed. Then therefore DSP Chika Sani ordered for his detention. That is all what I know, after I recorded the statement in Hausa Language, one Inspector Aliyu Umar translated it in to English Language who is also an IPO attached to Zone 10 Headquarters.
