PW2 was one Maxwell Chukw1:ka Nzelu . He is the one of the sons of the
Deceased . He recalled the said I 0th December 20 I I . His ve r sion was t lia1 0 11
his way from work around 8 .00am on d1at fateful day he recei ved a call fro1 P bis

their house, he met the dece2.sed lying on a 81ong bench in the parlor . -; he
appeared weak and her clothes were d;rty .
Upon ~inquiry , the deceased told him the Defendant beat her up . This Nas
because she preve nted the De fe ndant' s wife from carrying the wood bra11clies or
the Avacado tree the Defendant cut previously . She stated that' wh en she ·vas
µic king vegetables later in the day, the Defendant came back and sta rted cal ' ing
her names. She was then dragged by the Defendant to the nearby garden wirhi n
the compound where the Defendant's ' Nifejoined him and together they hc,1t her
up . As she tried to run away, the Defendant kicked her and she fell , sustail'i ng
an in\ury on her waist. They both hit her with sticks and p9ured sand on l1cr.
