The charge was read and explained to the defendant in Hausa language to the satisfaction of the court because initially defendant the court that he understands Hausa language. After the charge was read and explained to the defendant, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge. Consequent upon the plea of not guilty of the defendant, the case was adjourned for hearing.
