witness i.e pw3 later on going home informed her mother what transpired between herself and the defendant and her mother demanded her to go and show the defendant and at that juncture she informed her mother that she could not walk because her private part was paining her. In corroboration of this unsworn testimony of pw3 Nana Firdausi Bello her testified as pw4 and also narrated to this court how she sent her daughter to fetch water her and how the girl returned home crying and how the girl informed her that somebody took her into his room and raped her and later gave her mangoes. It is also the evidence of pw4 Amina Aliyu that she went looking for the defendant and with the help of some people he was found hiding under a car. She also informed this court that she reported the incident to the police and the defendant was later arrested and taken to the C.I.D office Sokoto. This witness also told this court that herself and a police officer from Unguwar Rogo Division took pw3 Nana Firdausi Bello to the hospital where she was examined.
