tendered in evidence through this witness and two of them were admitted in evidence by this Hon. Court as exhibits C and C1 respectively despite the said objection to the admissibility of the medical report by the prosecuting counsel. This witness stated under cross – examination that he could not state the actual date the defendant was taken to the hospital ay Kware. This witness further stated that at first the relatives of the defendant used to offer him natural medicine. This witness further stated the said medical report was obtained in the year 2021. This witness further told this court that when the defendant committed the alledged offence he was not under his custody and in fact he don’t even know where the defendant was until when he heard that he was at the correctional centre Sokoto and that he was taken there because he committed the alledged offence. After the close of the case by both the prosecution and the defence, both counsel applied to this Hon. Court for the leave of this Hon. Court to file written addresses. On the 10th day of June 2022 both counsel in this case adopted their written addresses earlier filed. 12
